There are only 17,000 supporters who occupy the tribune seat. In fact, the stadium has a maximum capacity of 80,000 spectators.

Montella then asked the Milan fans to stop insulting the players and start giving support.

“I urge fans and clubs to continue to provide support,” said the skipper quoted from Football Italia.

“In this difficult time, we need more support than insults,” he said.

Montella also admitted that the Rossoneri are not in the best performance in recent matches.

“Our performance in the first half was not as hopeful,” Montella said.

“We are losing aggression and determination, but this is a growth process,” he said.

The series of bad results in the Italian league became the reason Milan were humiliated by their own fans.
